Larry – 2017
Larry came to us with Misty... both from puppy mills. He is an amazing powderpuff Crested who, despite his early years, is happy and loves other dogs. We are so happy to have found the perfect home for him. -
Misty – 2017
Misty came from a puppy mill and, although she's lived her life in a cage, is affectionate and great with other dogs. She now has a wonderful new home. What a success story! -
Elliot – 2017
Elliot, 2 year old neutered hairless male, is now living in Canada. He is an exceptional dog and we were so happy to help him find his new home and family. -
Bunny & Weasel – 2016
Their owner was having a baby and didn't feel she had time for them. They are very bonded, and found a wonderful home together. -

Rikki – 2016
Rikki, 2-1/2 years, was given up because owner was moving to a dog free apartment. Was adopted almost immediately by a vet tech that had been waiting for a dog after her previous Chinese Crested rescue from us had passed away. -

Jitterbug – 2015
A couple was mourning the death of their Chinese Crested. They bought a puppy and realized it was too soon. The breeder would not take the puppy back and Jitterbug was given to rescue at 8 weeks old. She only weighed 1-1/2 pounds. -
Rocky – 2015
Purchased as a pup for a boy with Epilepsy. This dog developed seizure disorder and became too much for family. -
Christy – 2015
Elderly owner could no longer care for her. -
Gypsy – 2013
Abandoned at a shelter in Wyoming. -
Ivan – 2012
We drove to shelter in Wyoming on Thanksgiving to pick Ivan up from a kind Chinese Crested owner who took him from a shelter. -
JLo – 2011
A teenage girl bought her off Craigslist without mom’s permission. To punish her, mom made her give dog to rescue. -
April – 2011
April was advertised on Craigslist. She was suffering from heart worm and ended up needing to have all teeth removed. She made a full recovery. -
Annie – 2011
Annie was given to a groomer when her owner got tired of coat care. She went to live with April. -
Scooter & Levi – 2011
These dogs were unwanted. They were kept in a dark basement. When we got them, we thought they were blind—they walked like blind dogs. -
Whoopie – 2010
Whoopie was rescued from puppy mill breeder and ended up in a Utah shelter. Her front paws had been declawed like a cat. -
Sam – 2010
Unsold in a pet store, he became too old (9 months), and was going to be destroyed. Acquired from Mill Dog Rescue. -
Isabella – 2010
Abandoned in a shelter. -
Joey – 2009
Joey had been prepped as a show dog. When he become an older puppy, he was dumped at a shelter due to undescended testicle. He had been non-medically debarked, and all ribs were broken on one side. Loving but unstable. He was adopted by one of our rescue members and given a wonderful home. -
Faye – 2009
Faye is a Chinese Crested/Japanese Chin mix. She was rescued from a kill shelter in New Mexico – we got her just in time! -
Chelsea & Charlie – 2008
These two powerpuffs are littermates. Their owners divorced and neither wanted dogs. -
Maggie – 2002
Maggie was starving when she was rescued from puppy mill breeder. -
